What’s New in Transferology?

Transferology 1.9.6

• Students can now update the title of a manually added course within Will My Courses Transfer? and Find a Replacement Course.
• When students navigate to Transferology through a state/system landing page, a filter will display matches solely from the schools in the state/system. Students must select Show additional results to see matches from other colleges and universities.
• When viewing Match results, within a School Profile, students can now see the college or university’s average grant/scholarship award amount and average graduate school cost, if supplied by the institution. A third tuition field has been added that colleges can use to convey specialized tuition, such as those for online programs, additional campus fees, etc.
• The filter to search for schools that are online only has been relocated within the Find a Replacement Course path to help students more clearly identify this option. Instead of filtering by distance, students can now select the School is online only checkbox within the list of options.
• Accessibility improvements.

  • If Transferology has identified that an institution has closed, the application will display a notification to students and only allow coursework to be entered from terms before the closure.
  • The SAT scores submitted to program requests have been updated from 920 to 1050 to align more closely with the national average.
  • New Match result filter options:
    • When sorting by tuition & fees, students can select "up to $ $ $ $ $" or "Any tuition & fee amount" to include all tuition ranges in results.
    • When sorting by population, students can select "up to Max" or "Any undergrads" to include all population sizes in the results.

  • Partially matched rules and "does not transfer" rules are now shown in separate sections, with appropriate explanatory text.
  • Course descriptions are shown for most of the untaken courses in partially matched rules.
